(pronounced "Chee")

In the ancient Chinese movement practice of Qigong  we "play" with movement to enhance the vitality within by connecting to the Life Force in Nature itself.

About Peg Toliver

Joyful Support for Radiant Well Being

Peg Toliver is a nature lover, art lover, lifelong student, and teacher invigorated by the ancient healing arts of India and China.  Her interest in healing modalities led her to study Art Therapy and explore different cultural paths to holistic health. She is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) who has trained at the Temple of Kriya Yoga, Pranakriya School of Yoga, Center for Integrative Yoga Studies, Yoga for Cancer Academy, and completed Yoga for Healthy Aging training with Baxter Bell, M.D.

After a diagnosis of breast cancer in 2020 Peg explored the flowing movements of Qigong to assist in her healing after surgery.  She trained in the Chinese arts of Tai chi, Tao Yin, and earned certification as a Tier One Holden Qigong instructor.  She has done additional studies with Wenlin Tan, Yoqi creator Marisa Cranfill, and Master Chunyi Lin of Spring Forest Qigong.

Since 2007 Peg has shared her teaching online, and at area hospitals, colleges and physical therapy centers. In her Slow Flow Fit classes, she integrates these modalities in a meditative movement practice inspired by Nature and aligned with the changing seasons. Peg's teaching supports students in developing self-awareness, playfulness, and self-acceptance in their practice. Her classes are enjoyed by those seeking stress reduction with a gentle integrative approach to wellness, and for those with aging bodies and bright spirits.
